New PR! 405 Bench Vid

Sweet man! nice lift!

Strong, but how’s that 405? It looks like 2plates, a 35,a 25 and a 10 a side. That’s 365. Either way, you’re stronger than you look.

great lift, i have problems on one side too; but your numbers look (to me) off.

there are 3 45’s, 1 35 and 1 10 on each side. the big silver plates are hamptons and the other black one next to it is a 45 weider plate. it is one of the newer smaller plates that has the handles on it. then is the 35 then the 10…

btw, do you always train topless with your friends?

well we start with the shirts on then when the pump gets goin we take it off. lol who cares man most bodybuilders train topless or with a very small tank top on. i like to see my muscles

well im only 19 and have been lifting for 2 years so i think thats somewhat beginner. i am nowhere near my goal so im still a youngin

haha… At a public gym, I probably wouldn’t go topless, I wouldn’t want to catch anything even after wiping it down :wink:

But if I had a home gym, I would go birthday suite all they way. hahaha…joke…

19yrs and doing 405, not a noob… no matter how short of time you been workn out :wink:

No thumbs??? Even a flak jacket won’t save your ribs and your spotter can’t help until he hears the sound of cracking ribs. Keep your feet on the floor. Otherwise very good.

i’ve been training for 8yrs and only have a 300lb bench; but small boobies.

You might want to clean up your technique. like tnt said broken ribs would do you any good, and it would be a major set back.

i started benching the right way but one of my friends showed me the suicide grip and i like it better. i can get an extra push with my palms and it helps me lift.

word, just keep in mind every video ive seen of someone gettin fucked up on the bench press was with a suicide grip.

i know i mean if i learn i guess ill learn the hard way

What are your squat and deadlift numbers?
