New Music Suggestions?

It’s hard to go wrong with anything Al Jourgenson related (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, 1000 Homo DJs, Pailhead, etc., etc.). The closest to “hard techno” that Ministry really came that a non-diehard fan would like would be Land of Rape and Honey.

If you’ve got a sense of humor, Laibach’s WAT is an excellent choice and fits the “hard techno” much closer than anything else really, except possibly RevCo’s Big Sexyland.

Skinny Puppy’s Rabies is about as hard as it gets without too many guitars (and was produced by Grandpa Jourgenson) and you’ll see where Trent got a lot of his thinking.

Front 242’s >>Tyranny<< For You would likewise probably appeal to your tastes.

Try zero 7 for chill out. Highly recommended.
Mylo, Ian brown, The keiser chiefs - some good stuff coming out of the UK at the minute?

I would recommend Paul Van Dyk or Armin Van Buuren. If that doesn’t work than something like:

Marco V
Dumonde (Uber cool)
Yoji Biomehanika
Rank 1
Above and Beyond

Extra fast:

Darren Styles
Breeze
Hixxy

trivium, killswitch engage, metallica of course, slayer, opeth, moonspell, etc etc.

Type in a band or song name and it lets you listen to similar music for free. It’ll bring up some songs that you don’t like at first but after you’ve rejected some and accepted others it gets pretty accurate.[/quote]

Pandora is awesome! Thanks for the link!

90% of the stuff I listen to right now comes out of the UK, w/ the exception of Louis XIV.
