wonder how 4-D works in a porno theater…DUCK!..PFFFFT!
Home – TechEye

There ess this story a few years ago it was a hoax but still hilarious

I saw this one clip about porn bloopers once, basically funny clips of a guy farting while a chick tossed his salad, a couple fucking on a table and the legs break off, shit like that.

But the all-time hall of fame porn blooper clip of all… the camera man gets too close to the actor for the final pop shot, the porn actor misses the girl’s face, and it lands on the camera man’s face LOL !

Thoughts please.

The market for “4-D” cinema is heating up in Southern California.

High-tech theaters will consist of 100 seats and will be powered by the company’s patented technology that uses air pneumatics to control the motion of the seats synchronized to the action on the screen. In addition to moving seats, the theaters also use such effects as air, water blasts, leg and neck ticklers, wind, fog and scents to create a more realistic moviegoing experience.

I would never go see a movie in a setting like that. I like to sit back and relax when I go see a movie. Movies are already expensive enough as it is. I can’t imagine what they would charge for tickets to see a movie like that.
Agreed. This sounds awful. Isn’t Cali in the economic shitter? I imagine tickets would be at least twice as much as normal for this. So, you’re taking a state where everything’s already incredibly expensive, a population with limited disposable income, and you’re building super seats that spray you in the face and offer the faint smell of lasagna during the next Garfield epic? Makes sense. Could see it doing ok for kids flicks (provided their folks are millionaires) but overall predict it to bomb. Then again, the American public is full of morons, so who knows.
Haha, true. I try my best to go see movies before noon because they are only $6.50. If I don’t I buy passes from Costco that make the ticket $8.50. Tickets are normally something like $11-11.50.

Agreed.

It’s all rather stupid as there’s no way a seat shaking or 3D (which to me only makes the movie look embossed, not as though stuff is coming out at me) is going to make images on a screen look like they’re really happening to me.

when the movie Earthquake came out they had these monster Cerwin-Vega subs in the theater and when the shaking started on the screen you could feel it. they had some issues as some of the older theaters suffered damage from the speakers.

I saw Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and it was very good.

I can’t believe they are just now doing the 4D stuff. I think it’s terribly gimmicky but I also think it’s insane that it has been in use by most amusement parks for at least 15-20yrs and they are going to start using it mainstream.

I would not pay for that.

It reminds me of that ride in Disneyland called Star Tours. It’s been about ten years since I was there, but the seats and stuff move to go with the ship you are apparently on.

RedLetterMeida guy (the one on the left, not the little weasely guy) is basically never wrong. I love him.
