I think it makes sense, GH has been shown to promote (or even be required for) tumor growth and metastization, the same way estrogen responsive tumors can require estrogen. The study also shows that the anti-HGH makes the telomeres last longer, which would be caused by a slowed rate of cell division.

My guess would be that the anti-inflammatory properties are similar to the anti-inflammatory effects which are caused by lots of different peptides. It seems like almost any peptide can be shown to be anti-inflammatory or anti-oxidative.
