JUst wanted to say hello I just joined the site after looking around at it for a few months, I recently I taken an interest into strength athletics and have been working for about 2 yrs consistently, now Im 21 years old and 6’2" 225lbs. I feel that I have now hit a point where I need a good diet and regemented workout routine to make anymore gains, since I have just been doing random workouts. I figure the best advice would be from people who dealt with the same stuff.

You are in a great place. The best advice I can give you is read, read, and read some more. Try not to get bogged down by all the superfluous stuff. Just look for basic training and nutrition articles of which there are tons. Good luck!

Check the articles (links to the left) and read up on the many programs that have been offered. That way you’ll “speak the same language” when you do start asking questions and interacting with people here.

read and experiment. don’t fall into a dogma. use the tools before to mold your body.
