New Hampshire Lifter II

Paul, I was thinking the same thing!!

I was scheduled to MP as the main exercise but I felt like benching. I’ve got workout ADD, always have.

Looking forward to reading about your “rock” workouts.

Biker, I’m afraid the workouts will only read pick rock up, put rock down. Maybe I’ll throw a video in at some point to liven it up.

I molded a second stone tonight. I’m guessing it will be less than 160 lbs so I should be able to do reps with it. And my son should be able to lift it.

Sort of a “caveman workout”, huh?

Stone age thing. Making my own Stonehenge.

New stone. Only weighs 100-120 lbs I think.

Steve- That one looks really good…and its almost my size…

Yeah, that’s cool. It does look great. For the summer, paint it like a ‘beach ball’, and trick your neighborhood pals into trying to pick it up

Then again, someone may run up and kick it by mistake…“Not sure if funny or cruel…?”

Paul, you would throw that thing around like it was your job.
Eric, I really don’t like my neighbor’s kids., So it could be funny.

1a. MP (warm-up) 140x5 160x3 180x9 200x1
1b. 1 arm seated cable rows 50x10 100x5 120x5 140x5 160x3 140x5 120x10
2a. bench with bench daddy (warm-up) 315x10 335x10 355x5 405x2
2b. neutral grip chins BWx6x5
3. pushdowns 80x15
4. db curls 40’s x15

MP felt weak but the bench and pulls felt good. If anyone is having shoulder issues I high recommend the bench daddy or sling shot. I have almost no pain when I use it.

What, no stone work? And after that good instruction on making one.

Sorry Biker its been raining non stop for the past couple days. I’ll get out there soon I promise.

It finally stopped raining so there was no reason not to lift stones.

I think the smaller stone is around 110-120 and the larger 210-220.

Well, there ya go!! Looks like a great set up you got there; plenty of room to ‘expand’ your collection

Pretty cool, enjoy !

Thanks Eric. I have collected a bunch of stuff over the years.

My son bought another benchdaddy thing that came in the mail today. So he had to bench again tonight. The little shit is getting pretty strong.

Ut oh, that looked kinda easy …I think you’re in trouble Steve !

Paul, I imagine K will be benching close to 405 in next year’s meet. I’ll just be carrying his gear.
