MP gods smiled upon me this morning. Iā€™ve never MP 225 this easily before. Felt more like 185.

1a. MP barx25 135x5 185x5 225x3,4,5,6 185x12
1b. chin-ups sets with BW and +25 for 5-7 reps
2a. bench worked up to 315x9
2b. chin-ups BW

Strong MP numbers and following it up with 9x315 benching is very impressive.

Iā€™ll second that, very strong. Nice bunker-gym you got there.

Steve-you my friend are nasty ass strong!..but you need to shave your legs!!

Me gorilla have much leg hair-never shave-ug. Damn strong work my friend.

Great MPs, Steve. Very strong lifting.

Thanks all. I do love my bunker gym. The kids used to color and draw pictures while I was working out and I have some of their art hanging up. The carpets I have are from our first house. And my boom box could have come straight out of the 80ā€™s. Paul youā€™ll get to see my hairy legs really close up in a couple weeks.

The RPS wonā€™t know what hit them !!

Paul, youā€™re kind but I donā€™t think RPS will be impressed with my numbers. But maybe with my personality.

Iā€™ve been pushing the bench numbers too high too often. Gonna keep it 365 and under until the meet.

Got my son a football bar for Easter. Be doing a lot of curls later.

Great benchingā€¦greater deadsā€¦and an awesome gift.

Definitely living right!

Is your son getting amped, nervous or both, about the meet?

Damn you get all the goodies, from geekā€™s ville to caveman.

500x6 is a good pulll for reps.
squats and bench looking sturdy as well.

I am very jealous of you home gym.

Making me want to enter a lifting me. Thought about putting together a home gym a while back but Iā€™m one of those people just loveā€™s going to the gym.

I saw you on the email listā€¦fugg they moved the weigh in time earlier on Sat AMā€¦they use monoliftsā€¦ ever squatted out of a monolift? I havenā€™t but I am gameā€¦

Bar is pretty tough looking; 100+ lbs. ?

April meets are upon us all, keep pushing it!

Skip, my son was excited now its getting close heā€™s getting nervous.
Mini, he who has the most toys wins. right?
Kevin, Iā€™m loving my home gym. I donā€™t think Iā€™d go to a gym even if it was free.
Harry, if you had a home gym no one would stare when you lift in your speedos.
Paul, I got the email. Iā€™ve never used a monolift. The earlier the better. I wonā€™t sleep much the night before so Iā€™ll be ready to roll.
DZ, this bar is an amazon special. It was on sale for under $100 so I had to buy it. But its hollow and only weighs 25 lbs. You have a meet in April as well?

I tweeked my back on Sunday. Iā€™ve been walking around like the hunchback. I wore my belt for all sets of MP tonight.

I give the football bar a thumbs up. Chin-ups and benching felt great. Benching felt much different but in a good way.

Ah yes, you remember the old speedo conversations. Iā€™ve changed over to yoga pants. Keep that visual in your head now. We have one of those football bars at the gym but have never used it. Have to give it a try.
