Does anyone know how legitimate the net carb statement is? Do thes protein bars actually only effect insulin levels by the listed amount of carbs or is the net carb and sugar alcohol essentially a fallacy?
just don’t eat protein bars!
Depends on the bar, and how honest they’re being. When I diet, I avoid the bars just to make sure. Otherwise, a low impact carb bar is still better than a candy bar (but not always by much)
