Need to Workout But Don't Have Time

over the summer i worked out 6 days a week, and did cardio 7 days a week. I have been in school 3 weeks now and have only gone to the gym 2 times. I am a senior with 6 classes with tons of hw. Im usually up till 11 just doing hw.

I need to loose FAT, but i dont have the time for it. Hell I cant even eat, I have 3 small meals a day. Not because im trying to starve myself. I just hate the feeling of being full, plus food makes me feel sick after I eat.

any idea on how I can get the fat off without being able to spend 2 hours in the gym?

dude, al I can tell you is that if you really want it, you’ll find time, you’ll make time. An hour in the gym 3 times a week, anyone can do that. It just takes some planning and execution.

Gonna have to agree there. I’ve known guys with the most insane university scheduals and they found time to hit it up, no excuses.

Being up until 11 really doesnt say much. hell as a Junior in highschool i used to be up until 3am doing homework - because i didnt start until 1. Now if you are spending every waking hour 7 days a week either in class or doing homework and then passing out at 11 sharp let me just say - You’re doing it wrong.

with that out of the way you might lower your expectations, getting cardio done in the morning, right after class or even during lunch is fine, and getting into the gym 3x a week is sufficient if you’re really pressed for time. Hell you could probably survive going hard 2x a week if the extra hour killed you.

my point being stop whining, get the right amount of food into your body, get it done as far as workouts are concerned as you have time, and relax. Your cortisol levels are making you fat even as you read this.

If you were working out 7 days a week for a whole summer and still have to lose fat, you either had a ton of fat to lose or were doing something horribly wrong.

Some more info would be helpful.

So say class gets out at 2-its almost always earlier as a senior-, your seriously studying from 2 to 11 in HIGH SCHOOL please no your not. I don’t care if your doing 5 AP classes there is no way your studying that long-I knew a few kids who were, AND taking classes at community college to get ahead who still had lots of time-.

1 hour a day is nothing, if you want it you will make time. Also takes some time to get used to force feeding, you just have to do it. Don’t bitch and be ‘uhh I feel full though’ of course you will if your used to eating nothing it just has to be done. If your feeling sick then your probably not eating healthy.

Stop making excuses for yourself, students going to top medical and law school find time to workout you should easily find time in high school-I remember senior year being the biggest joke ever anyways-.

One of the ways I added cardio was to start riding my bike to work. Now as I’m getting around town I take care of cardio in the process. Maybe you can try killing to birds with one stone like this.

Also keep in mind that spending 2 hours in the gym is a bit much. In fact you should be able to get an great workout in much less time.

Another way I multitask when pressed for time is moving from lift to lift fairly quickly (doing a total body circuit) so while hitting each major muscle group it also doubles as a cardio workout.

Not eating will allow you to drop some weight. Great Idea!
Try not eating tons of foods that are bad for you; and don’t say “my mom makes all my meals for me”. tell her you don’t wanna be a fatass and to give you healthy f*cking food!

You hate feeling full? That pretty much sums up the obesity epidemic in the US. We have SO MUCH food and the majority of us are f*cking fat that people “don’t like feeling full”. How about this; move to a 3rd world country and eat once a week and drink water that pools up after it rains. You aggravate me.

2.) Grow up
3.) Get your head out of your ass

Do your homework at the gym. Haven�??t you ever noticed other college guys reading during cardio and in-between sets? You can also listen to audio books or lecture recordings at the gym. And if you�??re going to bed at eleven you had better be waking up at four, otherwise it�??s time to stop sleeping so damned much.

2 hours in a gym is alot, even if all your trying to do is burn fat, in my opinion this is to much time, and might in one way or another, may be having a negative effect on your goal (which probably it is). This picture you have in your head has probably lead you to think theres no point going for a 10 minute walk or jog a day, well there is and it will help.

So there you go, now dont give me excuses you cant fit in a 10 minute jog/walk/sprint/cycle or whatever into your day, and you dont have to go to the gym either to do these activities thus saving time, all’s you gotta do is slip on some T’s open the front door and start running son.

I missed the part where u said 3 ‘small’ meals a day, goddamit and this makes u feel bad, and food makes u feel sick? your either eating garbage (and if you are i wouldnt blame you for feeling bad and sick after eating) or you are totally uneducated when it comes to how to lose weight. Let me tell you, you are basically starving your body, thus throwing your body into survival mode (starvation) where the metabolism slows down to a haertbeat of a hundred year old, and the body only stores more fat because it thinks food supplies are short.

Dammit i butchered this post, if only i would spotted that sooner, i gotta go to the gym myself now. i might edit it again this is not over!

They’d been talking about training and Divito said he simply didn’t have the time. Arnold just said “Get up earlier”.

this is a bodybuilding forum; don’t come on here and ask how to loose fat without working out.

I took 18 credit hours, practiced at least three hours a day, taught 20 students a week(10 hours/week), spent a lot of time with my girlfriend, kept on top of my homework, had a part time job on the weekends, and ate 6+ times a day every day.

I still had time to train. I made it my priority to get there in addition to all my other crap.
