I never really bothered with New Years resolutions; perhaps because the Jan. 1st never really felt like the beginning/end of anything. My birthday always served as a better mile marker as it fell exactly at the end of the school year and start of summer vacation. On June 9th I shall turn 22, and thus I have set new goals for myself to be met by my 23rd birthday.
In no particular order:
Goal 1: Deadlift 400+ lbs, Squat 400lbs, and Front squat 315 (3 rep)
I lump these together because I feel as though they are nearly synonymous, thus prepping for one carries over to the others.
Goal 2: Seated row 225 lbs (3rm)
Goal 3: 20 bodyweight chins
Goal 4: 36 or better on the MCAT
Currently I squat/deadlift 275 (3rm), my 3rm chin is ~225lbs (I weigh 190), 155 lb 3rm row, and cold (first attempt without any studying) MCAT score is 29.
If anyone has any advice, tips, favorite programs, etc. please let me know. I have been lifting consistently for 3 years, at the end of the fourth I would really like to have something to show for it.
