Coach Thibs, do you still believe that pushing (upper and lower body) is the most important thing for building mass and increasing performance? Obviously, philosophies change as you learn more and more in this industry, but do you still think that pressing - a LOT of pressing - is the "bread and butter" for building a powerful, muscular, and lean athlete?
I'm referring to your original HPMASS article. I feel like my best overall gains in body composition were made utilizing this type of performanced based training where I'd focus on adding overall explosive volume over the course of a few weeks through high frequency training.
If so, have you changed your mindset on how much pressing is necessary for maximum results?
