"Nazi Punching": Good or Bad?

Then the question is, why is something that is not political on a political quiz(or did I misunderstand your response?)?

I didn’t say it’s perfect, nor that it’s entirely accurate. Who cares lol.

I’m an average leftist joe with a weightlifting hobby. not a fan of the soy latte. I did have a caramel latte the other day though. Tasted like candy.

EDIT: I didn’t read through the entire thread, only skimmed. Are we using a special definition of ‘leftist’, or do we just mean ‘a person on the left side of the political spectrum’?

Well, that was widely understood to have been a joke and only used for wooing dumb Western lefties.

Yeah, although a more accurate translation would be “to each according to his needs

I demolished this grand theory when I was in 2nd grade. Of elementary school. We were learning about dialectic materialism (9 year olds. Again, 9 year olds) when the ability/needs slogan came up. I sat for a while in class genuinely confused until I interrupted the teacher and asked her a simple question - let’s say I want an outdoor swimming pool. And I work extra, extra hard to be able to afford that swimming pool. I couldn’t understand why I could not get that swimming pool, despite it not being a need.

Dead silence ensued, followed by a nervous laugh. “Uh…it simply doesn’t work that way. Go visit the comrade principal’s office, he’ll explain in to you”.

Long story short, I was summoned to the comrade principal’s office, and for my homework I had to pen a ten page essay with clunky phrases such as “the transition from socialism to communism will finally erase the millennia old barrier between idle parasitic owners of the means of production and those who are actually working for the betterment of society” Again, I was 9 years old.

On a side note, both of my parents were summoned the next day at their respective workplaces by Party officials and had to take some questionnaire about our obviously dysfunctional family.

So when I see that insidious phrase “equality of outcome” peddled by trust fund kids I completely lose my shit.

Really? Because this is also recognized in Chinese communist literature in that it was rejected by Mao. Or was it a misinterpretation? Engels also described the “withering away of the state”.

Lolololol

No, theoretically it was correct. We learned about “withering away of the state”, shouted slogans “America and England will become lands of the proletariat” but unusually for communism it was tacitly admitted as being “impractical in the foreseeable future” and only peddled in propaganda for Western consumption.

I think the Sino-Russian split contributed.

Ah, ok. This makes perfect sense.

In what world would people get to do what they want anyway? That’s how things work in the inner cities.

Someone or something is controlling all of our lives.

Many liberals actually do believe in property rights. Try taking their iPhones away to see.

What happens in Portland is happening everywhere, duh.

Is that Lindsey Graham?

Exactly, Russian trolls on Twitter & Facebook. Look into it. They stirred the pot for both right and left

Your wish is my command. flipcollar your a godamn snowflake. Bet you walk around in Uggs as you sip your ghey little caramel latte.
