Has anyone read Natural Hormonal enhancement by Rob Faigan?? Nutshell-cyclic low carb diet with specific high carb days. He does not seem to think the high carb meal is important post workout…any thought on the subject would be appreciated.
Just finished reading it. Excellent work if somewhat repetative. I do believe an uptick in cals/carbs for short periods interspersed with slightly longer periods of ketosis are the way to go. Increasing cals is the best anabolic I’ve ever used but staying there too long puts you in fatland. Makes sense to rotate down into lower carbs to prime the body. No carbs post workout hasn’t hurt me, much to my surprise. The one part I’m not following is the frequent feedings. Once I tried that Warrior Diet, I was hooked.
