Heard a few tracks and it sounds ridiculous.
I haven’t heard it. I love a lot of his older shit (solo and with The Firm), but “Hip Hop is Dead” was the perfect title for his previously released album. It sucked.
I would hope this one is better…
Nas tends to be hit or miss for me, I still think Illmatic is probably the greatest hip hop album ever; some of his others were not so great. Of course everything he puts out is measured against that first great album. What I’ve heard off his new album I liked though (only about 2 songs so far).
