Naked & Afraid

no, not the tv show on the Discovery Channel - this is how most of us approach life and training… thinking you know it all, and head out into the cold hoping all works out for the best.

OR… you’re one of those who have a plan, work the plan, only to have the plan fall apart and you find yourself not even close to your original goal.

OR… you start college working on one degree, only to change your major midstream, only to find a job in some other field that is not even applicable to your college education.

Or - Talking Heads: Once in a lifetime - YouTube

I suppose that if you had a point, you wouldn’t be Edgy, you’d be Pointy.

Great song, though.

right you are, Varqie!

I was in the second category for sure. I spent most of my college life naked and afraid.

for instance, when you head to Home Depot, or even to Harbor Freight, you always head home with either more tools than you had planned to get, or with more projects to do~

SO TRUE! FML

I’m never afraid when naked.

another for instance?

when you just head to the park for some quite time, or some much needed R&R - some people just wont leave you alone, ya know?

Very Very Good alternative rocks bands.

which brings up a good question, Good Doctor…

what is it that labels a band ‘Alternative’?

this is a question that i have pondered for more than a millennium.

But did they run 'round naked while unafraid?

[/quote]

No, the berserks ran around in bearskin, not in their bare skin.
