My Strength training

Just curious about this, Usually every Tuesday ill use weighted Dips as my primary chest and triceps exercise for my 5x5 workout. Thursday is Incline and Saturday is flat bench. And of course Squats every Tuesday and Thursday and Heavy Deadlifts on Saturday.

But i have decided to move weighted dips out of the way and put close grip bench for about 2 or 3 weeks. Is it ok to use Close grip as a primary exercise for the time being to strengthen my triceps? Which obviously would increase my bench press…

Im stuck at 295, trying to get that big 300 :D.
