My Shoulders Keep Cracking


Hey, everyone. Pretty recent, whenever i do seated shoulder presses my shoulders keep cracking. There no pain at all or anything. i just hear 2-4 cracks.

Does anyone know whats wrong or why my shoulders are doing this?..

i recently somehow sprained my wrist and couldn't workout for 1 week, and that week was just frustrating. so i don't want the same thing happening to my shoulders!


If it's just noise with no actual pain or swelling at the time or after it happens, it's most likely just crepitus or "noisy joints". No big deal whatsoever.

If it still bothers you (as a distraction), trying warming up the shoulders and upper body more thoroughly before lifting. The increased blood flow should cut down on it a bit.
