Well when? 8 weeks form now…Huh!!! WTF??? Hear me out please.
Ok fairly new to T-Nation and this may seem quite bizzare but please read my story. I have been working out for 1 and a half years now, fairly consistently with the last half year, owning my home buit gym (: with; bb’s, light db’s, bench, squat rack, bands, stability ball and stationary bike.
This is handy bcoz before that I went my local gym that only had DB’s and only went upto 40kg. |-: LAME and ofcourse my leg w/o’s sucked ass.
I did a crazy cut before that which I won’t get into but left me looking like a twig now I bulked back up in that time frame. Actually I’m at my biggest with roughly the same bf% as before my cut 2years ago.
OK here’s the problem, When I’m fully dressed I look burly and fairly athletic with the build of perhaps a rugby (football player)and when I’m nekkid I still look decent, big size for my age, good proportion and balance, perhaps like a powerlifter.
However, whenever I take some snaps I am disguisted. I swear, some ppl are not photogenic as they say but crickey!! I don’t even look like a lift, nvm have my own gym.
So, for the next 8weeks I wish to put 110% in. Then hopefully take some pics and hope for some criticism here. I am going to use this as a log and I hope you guys can back me I really need it. BTW, I choose 8weeks bcoz it is roughly that time I go on my hols so give’s me something to aim for.
I’ll be honest and I swear since I’ve been training, my 1st goal was to be strong and athletic. 2nd was my appearance. It has paid off somewhat I have gained some good strength, ALOT of size and never suffered with an injury. However, Cardio and my conditioning has been neglected. So for this 8weeks I am going to switch my priorities around.
5-7 meals a day and anything that goes down my throat will be CLEAN (no rude jokes pls) Drink more water and cut out the tea also.
Weights, 3 times a week total body. 4 compound, 2 iso on weak BODYPARTS, I usually train movements and don’t care so much about lagging bodyparts.
Off days, H.I.I.T cardio and circuits, maybe some steady state.
Ok Ok, I know theres no pic now! I really do wish I could but I can’t bare the look of myself!!! Besides ofcourse the score will reflect my effort so it goes to show.
But anyway I have 1 question and then I need adive and my stats will follow.
What does 1% of bf represent in weight? 1LB, 2.1299lbs, 10lbs??
What would you reccommend to me, as in yea, a certified cut; all out 8week fat loss OR not so much a cut but a recomp as such OR fuck it keep bulking. I know alot is personal opinion but if you was in my shoes. And finally the stats to go off:
Weight: 15stone, around 203lbs
Arms: 16inch (these suck big time and will definately be a bodypart specialisation, I’ve been a no curl guy for soooooo long!)
Occupation: Full-time student, training to be a PT. Quite flexible to be honest, part time job easy peasy too. I am an ENDO type person.
Bearing in mind I’m not exactly shooting for a comp just to show what I got. (a little), If I was to cut I would not like to be lower than the 180’s. I don’t know what bf that would put me at but I have no interest in being lower than 10%, especially for me I think that is awesome.
I have been tempted to venture the use of AAS lots of time and it is a wide-spread thing hear, I think my town has the highest use in the whole of Britian so its kinda in your face.
Long-term goal to bare in mind, would like to be 8-12% bf at 240+
So, Who’s got my back and would like to follow my journey?
