I’ve been lifting for over 14 years now and yesterday I started my first real food log. I have tracked my protien intake for years but haven’t bothered with fat or carbs. In just 1 and a half days of tracking everything I ate I was amazed by how much I learned about my food intake. I have been eating “healthy” for a few years but untill I broke down all my meals I never realized how poor my diet really was.
If you’re serious about getting results I would highly recomend taking the leap and keeping a journal. I haven’t considered myself a newbee for years, but I was making a huge rookie mistake by not writing down what I was eating. If you’re guessing at how much you’re eating, you’re probably guessing wrong.
