So I started the Mass Eating diet, together with a new hypertrophy cycle at the gym, 3-4 days ago.
My diet was always good and clean. But averaged 2.200 cal. Now I raised it to 3.000 and my theoretical needs (according to Berardi) are about 3.700 cal.
All I have acomplished up to now is feel full most of the time, added about 0,5 cm to my waist.
According to my electronic scale, I have 23% fat. I do not ever intant to go bellow 15% fat, 20% is satisfactory for me. But could this mean that I will gain mostly fat from this diet?

23% fat? Seriously. You really think so? Go have it tested by a professional. I would say, based on your picture, it’s much less than that. I won’t actually venture a guess, as that would be pointless, just saying I think it’s less than 23%.
As for your goals. Why are you limiting yourself to only 15%? I think it may have something to do with the fact you think you are at 23% and can’t imagine what it will take to get down to 10%. If not, then again why limit your goals? Are you just trying to make them seem more attainable?
As for you diet- if you truly were at 23% and went on a “bulking” diet, then I would say yes most likely you would gain mostly fat. Again, since you are not at 23%, you won’t.
Now I am a little heavier.
weight: 82 kgr
Bodyfat: 23,5%
waist: 93 cm
Did you see the most recent ones?
I know I look very good (proportions) when my waist is 88-90 cm (19-20% BF). I like the heavy look when my waist is 91-92 cm (20-22% BF). I start looking fat and feel uncomfortable when my waist goes above 92 cm (23% BF).
This last 1 year I measure my BF with an electronis scale with a built in BF meter. I am sure it deviates 2-3%. But I had several times my BF measured in the gym, 2-3 years ago. They gave me similar figures.
