A few months ago I posted that I was having hip pain while deadlifting. I took some time off from heavy deads/good mornings and it went away (as did hamstring progress).
At any rate, I was deadlifting today and I noticed the same pain just on the edge of perception. This time, I was curious to isolate what exactly causes it.
I hopped on a leg press machine and started doing light one-legged presses with my left leg. Basically, what I found is that I feel it in the joint (I think) of my left hip. I only feel it during the bottom 10 degrees or so of the motion, when my knee is closest to my chest.
Any idea what might cause this?
