r-ALA. Beware r enantiomers. The organic system tends to use L enantiomers. R enantiomers are NOT the same things, and are even potentially toxic. I’m not looking up r-ALA, just type in ALA enantiomers into and learn about it.

You don’t have any clue what you are talking about. First off, the opposite of R is S, not L. R = Rectus, S = Sinister. L, levorotatory, is opposite to D, dextrorotatory, which have to do with how the molecule rotates polarized light. They refer to different molecular characteristics.
Second, the body use the R enantiomer of lipoic acid almost exclusively and in fact there are studies which claim that the S enantiomer actually increases oxidative stress when a racemic mixture is administered. ReceptorMax uses the R enantiomer and so should everyone else. S-ALA is garbage.
