So, today marks the end of my first year of power-lifting. I have to say, joining my local PL club was absolutely the best choice I’ve ever made lifting-wise. I started at 150lbs with maybe a sloppy 400kg/880lb total (5.86x body weight). Now, I weight 160lbs (down from 175lbs) and I have a 510kg/1122lb total (7.01x bodyweight), maybe higher.
I didn’t just make this thread to brag though. I want to set solid goals for this time next year, instead of just seeing where things end up like this year. So, I want advice from those of you who have done PL for a few years now. Was year two better than year one? Did you see the same rate of growth? More? Less?
