Music to Push Iron to...

I need to fill up the ol’ iPod with some fresh tracks. Gimme some inspiration…

Currently on shuffle:
Dead Kennedys
The Ramones
Outkast
Fugazi
Minor Threat
Marilyn Manson
Exploited
The Clash
Gorillaz

There really should be a music sticky or something. There’s at least one of these threads a month and they just get crappier and crappier because people get tired of responding to them.

These threads pop up all the fucking time, even so I always like to talk about music. I reckon that given your current music tastes you should check out ‘Bad Religion 80-85’.

The tracks on there are far less produced than the albums like ‘Stranger than Fiction’ and ‘The Gray Race’. They have this gritty, speed addled quality which lends itself well to workout music.

Also if Fugazi is the most ‘hardcore’ that you’ve gone so far, you might want to ease yourself into some ‘Sick of it All’, ‘Madball’, ‘7 Seconds’ and ‘Walls of Jericho’.

Pantera, Slayer, DMX, Ice Cube, Wu Tang, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD…RAMMSTEIN !

I’ve been into punk since the early eighties. Sick of it All is great. i actually have an album or two of them. GG Allin isn’t bad to lift to either. “Bite It, You Scum!” has to be one of my favorites.

As for Madball and the others…I’ll need to check them out. Thanks!

And yeah, if these threads get posted all the time…I think it’s time for a sticky.

Good call with wrestling themesongs. I was partial to UW’s, HH’s, Demolition. Might have to download some before my workout today.

Old School…

AC/DC
Metallica
G & R
Slayer
Megadeath
Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
Pantera

Live it…

Glamorous - Fergie

Oh, so just leave my iPod at home and listen to what they play at Gold’s?
