I have been lifting for several years and have never torn a muscle until a few weeks ago when i tore my hamstring and then last week I tore my pec. I am suprised by this and perplexed as to why? Do you think it is attributed to ovettraining? nutrition? supplementation? stretching? Both tears a relatively minor. Thanks
ya nutrition, Mostly due to dehydration for me.
Rule of thumb is to never stretch before workouts, but you can stretch after work outs.
stretching doesn't do much but prevent injuries but getting rid of muscle knots.
