Ok this may seem sort of strange, it is to me. I’m not new to working out but I’ve been off serious lifing for over a decade. I’m about to start some strength training. I went to flex my pecs for my wife to show her that there is still some muscle under all this and when I got to near peak contraction, I feel like I tore my pec! No bruising after but just a god aweful pain for several minutes. I don’t know if I dare try that again. I can still crank out pushups and a few bench reps but now I’m nervous about going too far.
Can anyone help?
