Muscle Mass Gains Slowed Down!

Hi Guys,

Right from about last September I’ve been working out with the following Routine.

Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Shoulders and Triceps
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Back and Biceps
Friday: Legs

From September to about xmas 2011 this worked for me, I was gaining great and really happy with my progress! I was switching things around and changing things up swapping dumbbells with barbell and doing different exercises each time so my muscles would keep guessing. I went from about 145lb to 156lb over this time. I understand not all of this weight will be dry muscle weight but also other fluids, yet I was still gaining, but from xmas to now, this has completely stopped, if not gone into reverse!

Can some please tell me what I’m doing wrong, how I can start gaining muscle again like before xmas? I have 5 days to work with, Monday-Friday. Can you suggest a new routine for me or point me in the direction of some please? I would really appreciate your advice as I am becoming frustrated with my progress.

N.B. I did come under a lot of stress since xmas till just a few weeks ago!

Eat more. Read the stickies please. Research abit. Use a proven program. How many calories are you at per day?

Well you haven’t told us your training program. Or your diet. How can we suggest anything?

I find it pretty uninspiring that you waited until mid-august to address this issue that you’re gaining has stalled since last Christmas. Should have been addressed the first week or two of January. Gaining stalled? Ah, bump up the calories!

Eat some more
Like serious bump that up by 1000cals Atleast if your only eating 2300
Go to sahms club or marsh or whatever buy 20/80 beef patties
1/3lbs patties cook or grill up three and eat as a burger
Extra pound of beef in your diet BINGO weights moving agsin

No problem brotha, this site has got everything you’ll ever need to know on it.
Just keep looking around, read up a lot, and ask questions when you get confused, the posters on this site can be a little abrasive sometimes, but they’re usually right with their criticism. So, don’t take anything personally, keep working hard, and we’ll see you around.
