Right from about last September I’ve been working out with the following Routine.
Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Shoulders and Triceps
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Back and Biceps
Friday: Legs
From September to about xmas 2011 this worked for me, I was gaining great and really happy with my progress! I was switching things around and changing things up swapping dumbbells with barbell and doing different exercises each time so my muscles would keep guessing. I went from about 145lb to 156lb over this time. I understand not all of this weight will be dry muscle weight but also other fluids, yet I was still gaining, but from xmas to now, this has completely stopped, if not gone into reverse!
Can some please tell me what I’m doing wrong, how I can start gaining muscle again like before xmas? I have 5 days to work with, Monday-Friday. Can you suggest a new routine for me or point me in the direction of some please? I would really appreciate your advice as I am becoming frustrated with my progress.
