muscle losses...

While I am very eager to try meltdown training and the t-dawg diet following both the holidays and phase 2 of the growth surge project (they happened to coincide god help my bf%), I am worried about burning up muscle with this type of training and diet. I once tried the bodyopus plan years ago and damn if I didn’t become a lean but SKINNY mo-fo. It was so bad I haven’t really tried to lean out since! Right now I weigh in at 216 and ~16% bf, and am happy with my level of muscle mass. I know it is normal to lose a little muscle when dieting - not problem - I just want to keep it to a minimum. Should I just follow meltdown and t-dawg to a “t” and pray for the best or can anyone also give me tips and tidbits that work while on these plans? Thanks a bundle in advance…
