This thread is so good that it has forced me out of lurking.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned Every Time I Die. They aren’t exactly “brutal” but they have awesome riffs and lyrics. Great lifting music. I listen to the second one before all my PR’s.
Also a big fan of Devil Wears Prada.
Glad to see Animals as Leaders get a mention. They are brutal.
