Morning Smoothie Recipes?

Been a while since we had one of these threads; so what’re some recipes for AM smoothies?

My current pre-breakfast smoothie is as follows.

8 ounces apple juice
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozed blueberries
1 cup crushed ice
2 scoops Biotest Superfood
1 tablespoon Benefiber
1 scoop Grow! Whey Chocolate

Blend frozen ingredients first. Then add powders and blend as briefly as possible to get them distributed.

I drink this while I’m making breakfast and preparing food for the day.

Thanks to Shugart for this one:

3 scoops vanilla MD Complete
1 banana
1-2 T coconut oil
pineapple (to taste)
water and ice

You could always use milk instead of water too if you want.

Another favorite:
2 scoops chocolate protein
2-4 T Peanut butter
1 banana
1/2 cup greek or regular yogurt to thicken

I also some times throw in 1/2-1cup oatmeal for more calories.

Pretty basic one for me, getting a little tired of it:

1/2 cup oats
1-2 scoops Grow! Vaniila
1 cup berries (blue, rasp, mixed)
As much water as I can fit in my Magic Bullet.

I don’t drink it all the time. Usually when I don’t have time to make a real breakfast.

Bulking morning shake :

1 cup oats
1 scoop whey iso
50ml of extra light tasting olive oil
1/4 cup of pecans
an egg
1/3 cup cottage cheese
cinamon and cocoa
frozen mixed berries

how do the oats & berries go together? Does it taste good?

Taste’s ok, you really can’t taste the oats. The thing you have to get used to is the texture, my blender can’t fully liquify the oats so the shake is a bit… chunky.

2 scoops whey, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup blackberries, 4 tbsp milled golden flaxseed, cup of walnuts, 4 omega-3 eggs, 2 cups spinach, 1/2 square of baker’s chocolate

and some fish oil and vitamin c on the side

Current:
8 oz h2o
2 scoops Grow! Whey, 1 scoop Leucine
1/2 c. oats
3/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
splenda and cinnamon to taste

does the peanut butter actually blend well?

I’ve recently discovered that nut oils taste really good in fruit shakes. (they are expensive though)

1 1/2 cup water
6-8 Frozen Strawberries
1 Banana
1 cup oats
2tbsp Peanut Butter
2 scoops vanilla whey
Blend

You can sub milk or juice ( I use OJ ) instead of the Water.

You need a vitamix, that will shred up anything.

I actually blend the oats first when i make my shake and then add everything else because i couldn’t tell there was oats at all in there.
