Just a quick thought: Why wait until the evening to eat? I understand the whole undereating process, but what would the results be if you reversed the process: Eat two big breakfasts (break the word down: “break” - “fast”, literally breaking a fast, neat huh?) and then undereating for the rest of the day, then have a good post workout shake? Could work pretty well. However, I find that I am not hungry at all in the morning and that I am hungry as hell after working out. Thus, for me it makes more sense to consume the majority of my calories after working out. Nevertheless, what you are thinking about could work pretty well. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
