Montana Sound Money Bill

Here we go! This is it. This passed with no opposition. Anyone hear about it or know any more than the info related in the Youtube or WND article?

Pretty cool. A couple more states do the same thing and I am sure it will be legislated against at the federal level.

There is already legislation in place making large transaction or commercial use of hard currency impractical. I would have to go back at look at specifics, but I seem to remember one of them. Something about the gold clause being taken out of monetary contracts to protect lenders or lendees from inflation, and from requiring payment in gold or the equivilant value.

The trick would be to get banks on board. Probably have more luck with a co-op or credit union.
