Mobile Home Transport Question

When looking for a transportation company to move a mobile home onto a lot, what sorts of things should I look for so as to know I’m dealing with a good company? Any personal recommendations?

What is a reasonable price to expect to pay?

The distance will likely be between 20-40 miles and it will be a single-wide, with axles included.

Endless thanks.

Bumpity bumpity boo?

Wife’s uncle got given a single wide with axles a while back. Look for a company with a decent, clean, newish truck and a guy that isn’t drunk.

You’ll probably end up paying a show up fee and a fee per mile. Think it cost like $250 to have the trailer moved ~10 miles.

That seems pretty cheap–so far quotes have been closer to $1000. Thanks for the response.
