Mixing Training Styles in 1 Workout

Sorry if this has been asked to death, but is that a good idea. Like day it’s a day where I am including squats, would this be a good idea.

Back Squats - 8x3
Travelling lunges - 3x8
Leg extension - 6-12-25 (the method mentioned in the article “the best reps”), prolly only do one or two sets of that.

Do most people combine different rep/set schemes per workout or do you try to train for one style when you go to the gym?
