Ok this might sound rather strange … but is there anything wrong with mixing flax oil with diet soda? Or maybe with plain soda water?
MookJong, not strange at all. Whatever it takes to get your EFAs. It all mixes together in the stomach, anyway.
I would, however, avoid consuming caffeine in the hours before (and with) flaxseed oil. Caffeine has been shown to inhibit the body’s ability to make EPA and DHA from indirect sources.
Why don’t you just mix it in your before-bed protein drink-mix-creation? It’ll even slow digestion that way and make your amino levels last longer through the night.
