Hey so I am doing three days of pretty serious barbell training each week, M, W & Sat. However I teach kettlbell and need to find a day in there where I can do a good kettlebell circuit to practice my technique, etc… I have been plugging it in on Thursdays after my lighter Squat days. But am wondering if it would be better done before my barbell day? I know that some people say only active recovery after heavy lifting days but since KB is more dynamic movement I figured it would be good. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I think after your lightest day of the week makes sense. At the end of the day you’ll probably need to experiment a bit to find out how it impacts your recovery.
