I'm using some of MIT's open course ware to study over the summer. I happened to look at their weightlifting course and it wasn't what I would expect at all. They have a really high power reading list there; supertraining, two books by Poliquin, two books by Mauro DiPasquale, and several others.
There's a coach at my hs who has a MS in exercise science and his methods aren't exactly cutting edge (or even effective), so I'm pretty impressed by this guys class, not to mention he's a cross country coach so this isn't even his forte.
