Missle for Combat Forum Members

Let me put it this way - my first thought when I see missiles is ‘collateral damage’.

That being said, do post away. It’s a free country and I don’t mean this in a sarcastic sense. I may not find it awesome or funny but I’ll insist on your right to post it.

Its all good brother, no problem. I certainly understand your concern over collateral damage. I am not assigned to anything concerning the drones, but, I have been involved in discussions( intell) and I know they go to supreme lengths to prevent any civilian deaths. There are never any random or hasty decisions made in firing a Hellfire.

Well, I am sure it could be either one, since, I just finished an operation with some Romanians. After I posted this, I started to pull it because the combat forum is no place for personal political views. I live in a very isolated world, where war is ongoing and killing th enemy is like going to the gym. I will be the first to admit my sense of humor is macabe.I have a deep seated hatred for filthy Islamic Extremists, barbaric butchers like ISIS and Al-Sharbaab. I have walked through markets after these “warriors” detonate an IED, seeing the dead, mostly young childen, their body parts mixed in with the trash. I hate them so bad, I even broke one of my own rules and posted something on GAL (God, Forbid:))

“As naive as it sounds, the collective governments of this world, regardless of religious faith, needs to hang its head for allowing this filth to exist. A T-Nation member stared a thread on the meaning of “triumph”, well here’s mine: That every member of ISIS, AL-QAEDA, AQAP, AL-SHABAAD, BOKO HARAM, etc…their financial supporters and sympathizers, die a slow and horrible death, their bodies sliced and diced and fed to the hogs”.

Actually, the combat forum is the only social media interaction I have, so, I sometimes forget not everyone here is in my line of work. If I took your post correctly, extreme views are better suited elsewhere. Point Taken.

No need to apologize brother, I doubt that anyone here disagrees with you in your opinions about those death cult groups that you must deal with on a daily basis.

I am the first person to say that I truly wish diplomacy worked in all situations, that I wish just talking to everyone and/or hugging it out would somehow stop all of the evil acts that human beings commit, and that peaceful means of conflict resolution always worked. But, sadly, I must also admit that this simply isn’t the reality of the world we currently live in. There are people out there who are psychopathic, sociopathic, or to put it in more black and white terms evil.

Most of us here in the US (and Europe) are lucky enough to not have to be faced with this evil on a daily basis and so have the ability to push these horrible truths out of our minds. But we should all be thankful that there are people like yourself that are willing to stand in harm’s way and that are willing to deal with the horrors of this World so the rest of us don’t have to.

So, in my opinion at least, you have earned the right to vent or voice your views. Thank you for your service.

Sento,
Thank you for the kind post, but, I am just a small clog in a very complex wheel. I would like to give credit to the people who really are on the front lines of the terror war: The Intelligence Analyst. These people are tasked with an impossible job, scanning and analyzing millions of bytes of electronic data, searching for some connection to the next attack, or searching for collection patterns to launch a SF mission. There has never been a successsful operation without a team of intell people pointing the way. Point and shoot knuckledraggers like me have it easy, its like dispatchers for the LEO’S, “they tell you were to go”.

Thanks, Idaho. It’s always interesting to hear about former Warsaw Pact militaries/security services. Your observations on their level of education and fluency in English leave me pleasantly surprised, seems like you’ve met a squared away bunch of dudes. There’s much more that could be said, but I’d hate to hijack the thread.

A lot of us use the “Bad Ideas” thread to post and talk about any combat related subject. I often post stuff over there on a variey of subjects: weapons, equipment, ask for advise on fighting systems, LEO shootings, checking on lost members, etc. If you read through the thread there is no subject off limits. Ask a question over there and someone will get back to you.

Idaho - Love that you did this, behind you (cowering) 100%. I’m about to start my specialist training to be ‘on the front lines of the terror war’ as you described it, and it really hit home how serious the burden is to make the right analysis, and how much guys are relying on you to make the right interpretations.

Vrednic - Welcome to the forum, good to have you hear. Thank you for the kind words about its quality. It’s the only place I post, and I have tremendous respect and admiration for the guys posting here. It’s a privilege to be a tiny part of it. I hope you learn as much from it as I have.

Thanks, LondonBoxer and best of luck with your endeavours.

This is the most we some thing I’ve seen on a while
Thanks for sharing

Idaho,
Thank you so much. I had no idea. That is literally, the nicest surprise gift I got in 2015. Granted I didn’t know about it until now, but still.

So, Irish, London, and myself on the same missile. Is it possible for a Hellfire to be drunk? With just Irish and me it seems angry and vulgar would also be risks.

Wonderful, wonderful surprise.

Thank you.

Regards,

Robert A

@Robert_A - HAHAHAHAHAH.

We’re that angry, drunk missile that rarely works right but will still hit any goddamn building around no matter how big it is because FUCK THAT BUILDING
