Was wondering if you should use the same grip width you bench with(which for me is middle finger on rings) for military presses? Also im assuming a narrow grip would activate the triceps more, but does grip width have a different effect on the delts at all??
Sure it does have an effect. much like the bench you can get more strain on the shoulders etc with wider grip which can be good and problematic. For me I use a narrower grip then I bench with slightly for most or mu barbell OH pressing pinky on the rings this due to well I perform best here and it is comfortable as in no pain.
find what works for you. dont be affriad to vary it above all just keep taking the time to put weight over your head IMO its a GREAT indespensible exercise.
