Mike Van Arsdale vs Tito Ortiz

http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?prov=mmajunkie&slug=mmajunkie-MVA_comeback_signs_AFL&type=lgns

looks like a good match-up.

i guess Mike has been training at my gym lately. i need to get back in there. that would awesome to get to work with a guy like that…

Tito’s going to wind up crawling back to the UFC, I have a feeling.

I don’t think he wants to fight anymore, he just wants a pay check(nothing wrong with that). I’m thinking he’s going to do a Randy and Bas and start making straight to DVD action movies. Or porn with his girlfriend.

THE POWER OF THE ULTIMATE. WARRIOR!

How old is Van Arsdale now? The guy was (is?) a phyical specimen but I really have no interest in this fight other than the hope that Tito gets his ass kicked. I really don’t see Van Arsdale being able to do that. Might get to see some good wrestling I guess?

What’s the point of this? Van Arsdale is 43 and on a losing streak.

I’d rather see him coaching in the Big 12.

Maybe we’ll get to see Tito’s IMPROVED STRIKING.

I remember a not so old Sherdog Interview with Arsdale where he basically said he’s lost the will to fight and has multiple, nasty injuries.

Sounds like a appetizer for Tito.

He’s been saying his striking has improved for years now. Where is it?

This is another suck on suck fight. The best we can hope for Tito is that he doesn’t end up like his pal Rico (Rodriguez). Hopefully, Tito won’t spend his money like a drunken sailor now that his MMA career is about over. Hopefully.

Should add that the article doesn’t state that Tito has signed with this organisation.

They “hope” to sign him, which probably doesn’t mean much at this point.
