Mike Huckabee Done After Defending Duggar?

I really thought the Huckster might have some chance to play spoiler (maybe not win, but make noise) in 2016. He’s come out supporting the Duggar family and even his own facebook fans aren’t too happy. Does this hurt his chances in the long run? Is it really the media’s fault? And does it make sense to question the Obama parenting because their daughters listen to Beyonce, but to stand by the Duggar’s on this? He really got hammered by facebook followers for his statement apparently. I just read it.

He’s the bernie sanders liz warren type of wacko, but for the right.

Done like a steak!

Hopefully he’s done.

Was he ever really viable? He is yesterdays news much like old Hillary.

I thought he could potentially make waves. Not win the nomination, but be somebody who had the potential to make chaos for some candidates in some areas.

Now? It’s pretty hard to see how someone defending a pedophile is going to play. Even if the Duggars were that perfect bunny rabbit fucking Christian family.

Isn’t he right in claiming that Josh Duggar’s actions are “inexcusable”, but not “unforgivable” within a Christian PoV?

In other words- As far as I can tell, he’s not really defending anything at all. He’s simply saying that, if Josh Duggar really has confessed his sins and repented for them, then there’s not much more to be done. And Huckabee thinks it’s a media witch-hunt driving this more than anything else.

He diddled those girls and faced no consequences.

The good Christian family allowed him to continue diddling the girls after they knew it was happening.

The good Christian family-friend sheriff (who was later convicted of child pornorgraphy) just gave the diddler a stern talk rather than arresting him.

That’s not a media witch-hunt, no matter how Huckabee wants to spin it. That’s just plain old fucked up shit.

Yeah, I see where you’re coming from. He’s an articulate guy and all. But, the serious candidates are not the ones who ran four years ago. Santorum is another good example. My wife called to me when he was on TV announcing his candidacy and I just kept doing what I was doing. Does it really matter that Santorum or Huckabee are in the race? Santorum’s self righteousness and Huckabee’s blowhardedness wear thin.

Spot on. How would his tune change if this was an atheist liberal person?

that family is fucked up, but there is no question a bigotry towards Christianity in mainstream media. You can see the social justice warriors salivating anytime something happens which allows them to rant against religion.

It might not be a “witch hunt” but the situation with the pizza shop in middle of nowhere Indiana is pretty fuckin close.

The pizza thing in Indiana is a completely different, fucked up situation. Can’t fault anyone for depending the owners there. But to defend a family that continued to allow their daughters to be molested is messed up.

Born Again Pagan Satanist here :
This IS some Fucked Up Shit…
"Just five minutes worm your Honor, him, me…alone.

I would stick an IV into the fucker, infect him with an Incurrable disease and then bleed that Pedophile dead…but nice and slow through
the feet so he could feel his life slowly and painfully drain away from his body.

According to the police report released by InTouch, Josh?s father Jim Bob (referred to in the report as ?James?) first learned of Josh?s behavior in March 2002, when one victim approached Jim Bob and said that Josh touched her breasts and genitals while she slept.

Jim Bob appears not to have acted on the accusation. In July 2002, Josh, then 14 years old, admitted to the behavior to his father, prompting Jim Bob to ?discipline? Josh but not report the incident to the authorities.

In March 2003, according to the report, Josh fondled a victim while he read a book to her. Jim Bob was made aware of this and several more accusations?victims accused Josh of touching their breasts and genitals while they slept, and sometimes while they were awake.

The police report suggests that four of Josh?s sisters were victims. In 2002, there were five sisters living in the Duggar house: Jana, then 12; Jill, 11; Jessa, 10; Jinger, 9; and Joy-Anna, 5.

In March 2003, Jim Bob met with ?church elders? to discuss Josh?s behavior, and they decided Josh needed to enter a treatment program. He was sent to a ?Christian? program consisting of ?hard physical work and counseling? from March 2003 to July 2003. Josh?s mother Michelle later admitted to police that Josh did not see a counselor, and was instead sent ?to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business? in Little Rock, Arkansas.

When Josh returned home in July 2003, his father and church elders took him to a state trooper to confess what he?d done. The trooper, Cpl. Hutchins, gave Josh a ?very stern talk? but did not charge him with any crimes.

InTouch reports that Hutchins was later arrested on child pornography charges and is currently serving 56 years in prison.

Huckabee defends them SOLELY because of their Christian status, and you know it.

I have no idea if he defends them SOLELY because of status. I would suspect otherwise.

Really? The man blasted Obama’s parenting because his daughters listened to Beyonce yet argues for forgiveness and non judgement against a pedophile who happens to be Christian and who supports him.

And no I didn’t bring this up to bash Christianity as much as you may hope. Notice how it isnt mentioned in the op? Do read better, this was about Huckabee’s GOP nomination chances.
