Midnight Sahake

Anyone take one and what do you you use simple casein???

I’ve used vanilla grow and 2-4 tbs of coconut oil. tons of calories and it tastes AWESOME man.

How mnay gms of Protein Morg?
Do set an alarm or what?
Do you really think it makes a difference?

This may help…

McG, you’ve got a choice. You could spike your Grow with some cottage cheese (high in casein) or grind up some flaxseed (high in fiber & fat) and add them to your Grow. Either one will delay gastric emptying (i.e., making it a time-released protein) and makes for a great pre-bed or middle-of the night shake.

If you’re looking for a way to make sure you get up in the middle of the night, just drink a couple of glasses of water before going to bed. When you get up to hit the restroom, chug down the shake you have pre-made in the fridge. That way you’re not shocked awake by your alarm clock going off in the middle of the night.

Eat a big ol’ steak before bed, or cottage cheese, but thats just not as much fun…mmmmmmm beeeeef…

has anyone tried the science in sport ‘nocte’ shake? comments?

I’ve heard the sis stuff comes highly recommended, but it tastes like death compared to grow and surge… truely awful. I’d rather poke myself with needles than drink it again.

apparently it’s a ‘slow release’ magnesium caseinate based product that you take before sleeping - part of their ‘protein kinetics system’
