The crazy ppl that believe there is nothing greater in life than to support OSU football. ND is the only other school that I have seen that closes on that level of fanaticism in their fans.

You need to chill out just a wee bit.

And yes, I agree that Cbus has some issues with its level of Buckeye support, alot of people take it WAY too seriously. But then I am sure the guys sitting in the Dawg Pound watching the Browns play in -5 degree weather gather the same comments. Its still no reason to go dissing alot of the level-headed fans out there (of which there are plenty).

The 2 best teams should play for the championship. Isn’t that the whole freakin’ idea! If someone believes that Florida or USC or ND would give OS any better game than Michigan–I would disagree. To go to OS and lose by a field goal is fine. They deserve #2.
They deserve another shot on a neutral field.

My take. ND beats USC and Arkansas beats Florida and it doesn’t matter.

Michigan-OSU #2 for all the marbles.

Let’s just hang out with them.

I disagree, and here’s why.

Say tOSU and Michigan play again in the title game; you’ve got two possible outcomes.

1.) tOSU wins again – What did this prove? That tOSU is better? We already know that since they JUST PLAYED.

2.) Michigan wins – Cool, now we’ve got two 12-1 teams who split vs. each other, yet one of them is the outright Big Ten Champion and the other is the National Champion. How does that work?

Both teams knew going in that a win on Nov. 18th would clinch a spot in the title game, and a loss would probably deep-six their title hopes. tOSU won, Michigan lost.

To play again would render the first game irrelevant, and would be horribly unfair to both tOSU and all the other contenders at this point.

Michigan had their shot, and lost. Time for someone else to get one.

Ditto…

And again, I’m a Michigan Fan.

Eric Cassilias on ESPN Radio was talking all freaking afternoon about how the top two teams should play for the National Championship, and that those two teams are OSU and Michigan. While I do agree that those two teams are the two best teams in the nation, I don’t want a rematch. I’d rather suffer out the year in anticipation for next year than acheive a victory on a neutral field.

As I’ve said before, a rematch cheapens the rivalry and doesn’t settle the score in my opinion. If it does happen, and all points show that it’s very possible, it won’t be nearly as good as a victory on saturday would have been…

You didn’t know Hack knows everything?
He’s just here to disprove everybody when he gets a chance.
