To all the gear whores,
I am an apprentice gear whore and have just purchased a metal suit from a friend of a friend. It’s only been used once and i got a decent deal on it so i’m stoked.
I was told its the double ply pro squatter but im unsure of the difference between that and the ipf version. Anyone got any advice on ways to distinguish which one it is? It doesn’t have velcro straps.

How thick is it? You should be able to tell if it’s a double ply (Pro squatter) or single ply (IPF) pretty easily. IIRC, the old Pro squatter doesn’t have velcro straps.
Only Metal suit with velcro is the ACE. It will say on the front what it is. If its an IPF suit, it will have a big gay IPF logo staring at you, as per IPF rules.

Thats what i thought but was somewhat mislead by the graphics on efs and metal site that show no such logo
