Its your call, you know your mentality better than me but personally I find I’m most productive and effective when I rest on rest days and work on work days, whether that be lifting work, dieting work or real work. If I was to try a strict diet on christmas day, I would find myself compensating for that tenfold over the following few weeks, and the same would apply in any other arena. Rest days are for rest, work days are for work.
