What’s up? I have a couple questions about Meltdown Training, specifically the Lactic Acid Interval Training. When should this be done? Is there an optimal time to do it? Or can it be done at anytime throughout the day? Also, how long should the Interval Training last? And finally I was curious as to how many of you have started Meltdown Training and what kind of experiences you have had with it so far? Thanks!
Man, I just started meltdown this morning. That program is brutally intense! I love it!
HI, I AM A TRAINER AT DON ALESSI’S FACILTY IN BUFFALO, AND HAVE USED MELTDOWN TRAINING WITH A NUMBER OF CLIENTS. THE INTERVAL TRAINING USUALLY SHOULD BE DONE ON DAYS IN BETWEEN YOUR WEIGHT TRAINING WORKOUTS. THE METABOLIC DEMAND OF THE CIRCUITS IS TOO MUCH FOR MOST PEOPLE TO GET THROUGHT INTERVAL TRAINING IMMEDIATLEY AFTER THE CIRCUIT. BUT, IF YOU ARE ON LIMTED TIME, OR HAVE EXCELLENT WORK CAPACITY, YOU COULD DO IT AFTER YOUR CIRCUITS. MAKE SURE YOU ARE GIONG HARD IN THE INTERVAL TRAINING FOR 60-70 SECONDS…THEN RESTING FOR 3X THAT. COMPLETE 3-6 SETS OF THAT. I PERSONALLY LIKE TO USE THE AIRDYNE BIKE. I LOST 3 POUNDS OF FAT IN 9 DAYS WHEN I FIRST USED THE PROGRAM.
