Meltdown dieting...

Wassup everybody… I’m pretty new to weightlifting, and will start Meltdown next week to lean out and get in better shape. I’d like to maximize my muscle gain/fat loss ratio (goes w/o saying)… should I just follow Allessi’s recommendation to alternate 2 low-cal days with 1 maintenance-cal day on T-dawg, or is something more drastic necessary?
