So I’ve decided to compete again in the first week of March. I’ll be using one cycle of pre-meet training and one cycle of meet prep training outlined as per the 5/3/1 For Powerlifting book. However, with the updated Beyond 5/3/1, I was wondering how or if First Set Last would be incorporated into this at all? I’ve been using FSL for a few cycles now and personally love the volume it gives in my main moves but I also acknowledge the heavy singles are there after 5/3/1 work to prime the body. Any info regarding meet prep and FSL?
