I signed up at medscape.com so I could start searching articles on medline. Currently the only results I get are the abstracts. If I want the full text articles, it seems I have to pay for them individually (normally in the $30 range). Does anybody know of a site out there that will let me search medline for a more reasonable sum? Thanks.

A University library should have all your looking for.

Pubmed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

Many of the abstracts do have links to the full paper in PDF format. It’s hit and miss.

As for medscape, it’s still a good site, occasionally they publish their own articles for continuing education, and they’re free.

WSTRAINER is right. Whenever I need to download a full article I go to the local university library and download it there. Most better university libraries will have full subscriptions.

www.findarticles.com they are all free and full text

Regarding the University Library, do you need to be a student at the University to use it?

I will check out the other sites. Thanks everyone.
