I was wondering if anyone has any feedback from using MCT’s. I’ve read it works good for fat loss, but am looking for real-world results.
MCT’s work best for fat loss when on a low carb diet. They burn very fast for a fat and help keep energy levels up while in carbohydrate depletion. I think they work best for muscle gain. They are highly thermogenic and unlikely to be stored as fat so by adding them to the diet you are able to add additional calories while minimizing the chance that these additional calories will contribute to bodyfat stores. Also there is some evidence that they greatly increase GH secretion. Many people have a hard time handling them at first due to gastrointestinal upset so if you do decide to use them start off with a low dosage at each meal and gradually build up.
